0 The sun:  The sun represents our cosmic father. It rules over the mind and physical manifestations of the planets in our solar system. It is composed of mostly male energy and is represented by the element fire. The sun in your birth chart represents how you think and perceive your world. This solar body specifically rules the constellation Leo. 

 
1 Mercury- Mercury is known as the messenger of the gods. It is the closest planet to our sun and has a balance of both Ying and Yang energies. Within this planet is fire and Ice, representing positive and negative polarities, always understanding dual perspectives of physicality. Mercury in your chart demonstrates how you communicate, interact and share with others. Mercury rules over the constellations Gemini and Virgo.         


2 Venus- Venus is the 2nd planet away from the sun. She is known for her female energy and mythology is riddled with her beautiful birth, emerging from a shell within the sea. This is an independent planet that is in love with beauty. It nourishes the arts, enhancing the senses and bring seductiveness. In astrology she represents relationships and love. 3 Earth- Earth is the third planet from the sun and It is known for its flux of female and male energies. This planet is our solar system’s physical manifestation of life. It represents abundance, creation, wealth and evolution. These representations can be in a negative or positive polarity, the abundance can be either of good or negative intent. Earth represents how we view our place in the universe.  It rules over no constellations.

 
  Moon- The moon is composed mostly of female energy. She rules over our emotional body. She brings creativity, inspiration, and nourishes life with the flow of energy she creates in our oceans. She is the cradle from which life is created. In a birth chart she shows us how it is that you perceive and react to emotions. She tells us of our deepest longings and desires. It rules over the constellation cancer.

 
4 Mars- Mars is a fiery planet of passion and drive. It rules over the constellations Aries and Scorpio. This planet is known as the warrior, the planet of war and will power. Its intention can be negative or positive. This planet in your chart demonstrates how you act on your desires. It shows the level of your ambition and how you act out your will.


5 Jupiter- Jupiter is the 5tth planet from our sun and is the largest planet in our solar system. This planet is symbolic of growth, expansion and good fortune. It is known as the planet of luck, of riches and prosperity. It expands your consciousness and as a result physical manifestations can thrive. In your birth chart this planet demonstrate what areas of your life will need growth and development. It shows you where evolution is needed in your life.  This planet rules over the constellations Sagittarius and in ancient times ruled over Pisces as well.


6 Saturn– Saturn is the 6th planet from the sun and is known for her beautiful rings.  In Numerology the number 6 represents the point before completion and Saturn borrows this ideal. Mostly of male energy it represents periods of transition. It is a planet of hard work, determination and expansion of power. 7 Uranus- Uranus Is the 7th planet away from the sun.  This is an energetically male planet that rules over the constellation Aquarius. It is known as the planet of death and can be seen in a negative or positive polarity, Death is symbolic of change, of evolution of metamorphosing into something new. This planet shows  us our hidden powers and opens the portal to our inner mind. Its influence is strong in the  Scorpio constellation.

Kepler 22b-  Kepler is a planet that exists outside of our solar system. It is a modern planet found by NASA in the year 2011. Symbolically this planet symbolizes hope, revelation and truth. It exposes us to different forms of thoughts and beliefs, it expands our minds to different possibilities and lets our imagination run wild. Anything is possible is the message behind this planet. At this time it rules over no constellations but opens the potential for the existence of more life in our cosmos.
