Earth Like Planet

In 2011, NASA discovered the first potentially life sustaining planet. With the use of a telescope they named Kepler, a planet was found orbiting a star about 600 light years away from our solar system. This planet is the first planet found who's orbit is of perfect distance away from its sun. Similar to the distance of our planet and our sun. Kepler 22-b is in what scientist call the habitable zone; the perfect distance away from the sun for the planet to have a live-able temperature. Kepler 22-b is believed to have weather ranging around 70 degrees fahrenheit They also believe its atmosphere contains oxygen and Carbon. The possibility for life on this planet is very high. This planet is almost 3 times the size of Earth and considered to be mostly made up of a liquid component. If this is liquid is water this would be considered an ocean planet.
Its been five years since its discovery and very little information about this planet has since been released. But the possibilities leave us in constant state of wonder.
The discovery of life on another planet will change our way of thinking forever as a human species. The dawn is approaching us, a new age of intergalactic travel is arriving.
Over the years with this Kepler telescope NASA has found over 4,000 planets existing outside of our solar system. They call them EXO planets.
